Real compatibility, not keyword overlap
Matching weighs the factors that decide whether a cargo and a vessel actually fit:
- Capacity and stowage against the stem
- Vessel type for the commodity
- Gear where the port needs it
- Port and draft limits
- Laycan and position feasibility
Missing information is flagged
When a field is absent or ambiguous, it is flagged and a broker chases it, so a match is never quietly built on a guess.
A score on its own is not an answer. Useful matching explains why an option fits, what could add cost or delay and what is still missing, so the broker and the principal can decide with the facts in view.
Explainable, risk-aware ranking
Options are ranked with the reasons recorded: why each fits, what could add cost or delay and what still needs attention. The highest score isn't automatically the best option; the broker weighs the trade-offs with the principal.
What stays with people
Technology does not negotiate or fix vessels on its own. Our brokers own the relationships, the commercial judgement, the offers and counters, and the fixture. On each deal we act for the principal who mandates us.
